This week we finally did it — we’ve released the long-awaited (and needed) post on setting up sound for your online show.

Why is this important?

Well, during an online show there’s no venue or crowd noise to hide behind and help people accept subpar sound quality. Your online show audience is using headphones or speakers in a quiet room to consume your art and you simply must deliver.

Plus, you are probably using a studio quality mic that captures your every breath and voice vibration. That requires some quality delivery, as well as a few tips and tricks musicians using Show4me to stream their online concerts have kindly shared with us for this post.

In the blog, we are tackling the very basics — what is a DAW and how to connect it to OBS, why use a mixer, where to plug in the external sound card, when to use voice and audio effects.

To create the material, we’ve talked to Krizzian Juanico, Natalia Pelayez of Los Soneros, Denylson, Clyde J, DE FEO, and Dan BG. They all shared with us the setups they use for their online gigs and explained what are the benefits of using some of the listed tools and software.

To figure out your next livestream concert sound setup without breaking a sweat or falling asleep over complicated technical explanations or equipment and software lists, go ahead and check out our latest blog post sharing all of the info in the most fun and accessible manner possible.

Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your already decent sound, we invite you to check out the article and see what you can improve in your show sound by making some slight adjustments!
