Here at Show4me, we’ve been creating live shows every Friday and broadcast them on Instagram. The stay-at-home events have been a blast to put together and host, and we are happy to bring our audiences the 10th Friday Quarantine Livestream this week with a very special guest Ric Flo, UK rapper, songwriter, hip-hop artist, member of a popular classic 90s hip-hop collective Jungle Brown.

The event will take place over at https://www.instagram.com/show4me_/ on Fri, May 22, 2020, at 4 PM UK, but today we’d like to take the time and share some of the highlights of our interview with Ric Flo we’ve just published on our blog.

The musician, who is now both a member of Jungle Brown and a solo act known by his name Ric Flo, shared with us his experience creating own music, how it’s different from Jungle Brown sound, his inspirations, Glastonbury memories, and more.

Here are some of the highlights:

Show4me: Since a large chunk of our audience are musicians themselves, could you share some insider look into your experience performing at the Glastonbury with Jungle Brown? Any highlights? Was it everything you imagined? Were there any surprises?

Ric: Performing to 5,000 people was incredible! Adrenaline and nerves were on a 100, but as soon as the music plays and you open your mouth with positive energy and it gets reciprocated back, you enter a flowstate and time just flies.

Show4me: You will be a guest on our 10th Friday Quarantine Instagram Livestream this Friday, May 22, can you tell your fans and music lovers what they can expect from your show?

Ric: I’m here to uplift spirits so that’s what’s reflected in the music! Friday will give you more of an insight into my world, connect and ask more questions.

Show4me: What are the biggest ways your fans have supported you through the years both as a solo artist and as a member of Jungle Brown?

Ric: Beyond buying our CDs, vinyls, merch… Hmm, looked after us at festivals! People sharing our music is a blessing so I never take that for granted. Seeing where people are streaming from around the world is wild. Collaborating with producers from around the world is wild.
